What is monkey pox, monkey pox signs and symptoms and monkey pox images 

Monkey pox symptoms 

Monkey pox affected person can get rashes over the genital areas such as anus, vagina and other such areas and these rashes could also occur on feet, hands and mouth.

These rashes could become scabs before healing.

And on the very initial stages these could be painful and itchy.

How long do monkeypox symptoms last?

Monkey pox symptoms usually occurs in 3 weeks of exposure to this virus.

And if the affected person has flu like symptoms he/she would get rashes in 1-4 days.

How monkey pox spread?

Monkey pox virus spreads through the affected person from the start of the monkey pox symptoms and he/she can spread monkey pox till the rashes are healed fully and the new skin layer is produced by the body.

Some people are seen with monkey pox virus but with no symptoms and till now there's no evidence that they transmit the disease to the healthy one's.

Is monkeypox like chickenpox?

No, monkey pox isn't related to chicken pox as they are caused by different viruses.

These are not the same disease.

What does a monkeypox rash look like?

These are pus filled bumps present on the patients.

Patient could have one or two bumps on their bodies.

And they may have many rashes which can be painful.
